My deals this week

I am the single, disabled mom of 3 teenagers. One girl in college, one girl in high school, and one boy starting high school this year.
We live very frugally ( have to!) and we still have great food on the table, a comfortable apartment, and a decent running van.

I stay out of the stores until I absolutely have to go. I take a list made from a menu that I am having that week.

I go to food pantries. I buy from a fruit market in the summer. I got a whole box of tomatoes for $5 yesterday, yellow and big red ones, very ripe and there were 28 big tomatoes in there!!

Walgreen's has wonderful deals this week! Buy one 39 ounce Maxwell House coffee get one free! Also many other bogo deals!

Their registers also accept some expired coupons! I accidentally had one for one free any size Carnation Coffee creamer powdered or liquid and it had expired June 30 2008 I used it July 15 2008. They still took it!

I just wrote a frugal cookbook. I did not have it published, but printed it out myself and everyone at church loved it soo much!!
I only charged $5 for it and they said it was well worth it.

I have been combining all my errands to one day when I have to drive my daughter to work anyway. Saves me lots of gas.
Also when I sell on ebay, I bought a cheap postal scale and bought books of stamps and just mail everything from home.
